Italian jewelry designer Roberto Coin announced the brand will open a “Roberto Coin boutique” this month in Palm Desert, California, marking its eighth U.S. location. The Palm Desert boutique was created in partnership with Swiss watch manufacturer Breitling.
The new boutique, which is 2,000-square-feet, was designed in the same style as the Roberto Coin boutique opened recently along the coast in Newport Beach, and features white travertine marble; deep, rich woods; burnished mirrors and a separate “Roberto Coin Cento Collection Diamond Corner.”
The desert boutique also features some of the collections from Roberto Coin such as Appassionata, Animalier, Mauresque, Primavera, CapriPlus and the Roberto Coin ''Cento Collection,'' which is a unique 100-facet-cut, almost double the traditional 57-facet cut diamonds. In addition, Roberto Coin’s new Haute Couture Collection, designed in 18-karat yellow or white gold with diamonds, sapphires, and semiprecious stones, will be available at the boutique.
''We are excited about our continued expansion of our brand with another boutique opening,'' said Peter Webster, the president of Roberto Coin Inc. ''We have broadened our relationships by collaborating with Breitling and it is an exciting venture that puts together two of the most sought after luxury brands in the market.''
Roberto Coin’s partner, Breitling, has its own 220 square foot corner signature corner in the Palm Desert store. Breitling's U.S. president, Thierry Prissert said ''We look forward to our new relationship with Roberto Coin as we believe the synergies of our two brands will give us great visibility in the luxurious Palm Desert market.''
