Domino to showcase British skills at Basel

The best of British jewelry design and manufacturing will take centre stage on Domino’s stand K50 in hall 2.0 at Basel in 2012, where the company’s ‘Diamond Ring Mounts’ (DRM) collection will be placed in the spotlight.
This trend-led range offers 80 different ring designs in Platinum and a range of 18ct alloys including white, yellow or rose gold. Every ring has its own individual ‘story’ to tell to help retailers to romance the product at the point of sale.
The collection has been developed in-house by Domino’s seven-strong, new product development team with the aim of helping stockists throughout Europe to stand apart from their competitors.
In line with current fashion it is underpinned by four macro trends: Champagne Accents, Classic Vintage, Diamond Bubbles and Diamonds in Bloom.
“We are extremely proud of our British design and manufacturing heritage and believe that European retailers and UK customers will find something that appeals to them in the DRM collection,” said Andrew Sollitt, Domino’s sales and marketing director.
“Stone settings vary in size from 0.10ct – 7ct and all designs can be supplied either unset or set, with a choice of either HSI or GVS diamonds, giving great choice and versatility. DRM is a truly unique and highly commercial choice.”
The DRM collection is supported by a full-colour catalogue complete with a number of attractive life-style images which are available for customers’ own use.
The range is available from stock and Domino is happy to provide a setting service using a customer’s own diamond to set the rings.
Also on show at Basel will be Domino’s popular ‘Rosabella’ collection and ‘Trends and Fashions’, a strongly fashion-led range featuring collections of gold and mother-of-pearl jewellery, especially neckwear.
Other Trends and Fashions lines feature statement semi-precious stones with diamond accents.
