Centurion has announced its fourth annual Emerging Designers Competition, to be sponsored by Stuller for the first time.
“Our merchandising and sales strategies are strongly focused on developing new and emerging product designs that can be integrated into our interactive and customization initiatives,” Bob Cox, chief sales and marketing officer at Stuller, said. “It is critical for both Stuller and the industry in general to identify and support talented designers emerging at the top end of the market.”
The competition is open to all designers, regardless of experience, formal training or background in jewelry design. Entrants, however, must have never before exhibited in a United States fine jewelry show, must have the ability to exhibit at a trade fair and must have the ability to supply high-end retailers, should they want to purchase the line.
“The winning artists embody creative talent,” Howard Hauben, president and CEO of Centurion, said. “We are delighted to introduce them to the Centurion attendees.”
This year’s competition will award a complimentary exhibit to six winners at Centurion 2012, the 11th annual Centurion Show, to be held in Scottsdale, Ariz. Jan. 29 – 31.
Entry deadline for the competition is Oct. 15. Rules and entry form can be found here
